Our Story - Where Passion Meets Purpose
Hi, I’m Toni Raynolds—quilter, teacher, encourager, and big dreamer.
The vision for Hidden Falls Farm Retreat began with a simple but powerful idea: to blend my passion for quilting with my husband’s love for real estate investing. It was a way to bring our two dreams together—mine rooted in creativity and community, his in building spaces with purpose—and create something we could both pour our hearts into.
For me, quilting is more than fabric and thread—it’s connection, healing, and joy. It’s how I first bonded with my mom, and it’s what led me to become a Studio 180 Design Certified Instructor, teach workshops, and co-found Quilted Faith, where stitching and spiritual reflection go hand-in-hand.
For my husband, the joy comes in creating beautiful, welcoming spaces—places that feel like home the moment you walk through the door. Together, we imagined a retreat center where makers of all kinds could come to rest, recharge, and reconnect—with their craft, with each other, and with themselves.
And so, Hidden Falls Farm Retreat was born.
Set in the peaceful hills of Nancy, Kentucky, this space is open to quilters, knitters, scrapbookers, cross-stitchers, embroiderers, and every creative soul in between. Whether you come with your guild or need a quiet weekend on your own, this is your place to breathe deep and let inspiration flow.

A wonderful place for sewing/quilt retreats (07/25/2026)
Hidden Falls, located in Nancy KY, is lovely home away from city noise and traffic, but close enough (10 miles) to multiple non franchise restaurants. The house has at least 5-6 bedrooms and the seven of us had more than enough space. The house has two kitchens and a huge sewing studio. The studio was well air conditioned in 93 degree weather.
Toni, the owner was wonderful! She stayed with us to make sure we were comfortable. Best of all, Toni was available to help with quilting issues since she also teaches quilting classes.
I cannot say enough good about Hidden Falls! I would not hesitate to return and to recommend to all my quilty friends.
Wonderful retreat facility (07/25/2025)
I recently spent 4 days/3 nights at Hidden Falls Farm Retreat near Nancy, Ky. I attend about a dozen retreats every year, and I can honestly say, this center is one of the very best! The owner has given lots of thought into planning the accommodations. The house is spacious and welcoming and the bedding was comfortable. The sewing area is well lit, plenty of electrical outlets, the sewing tables and chairs are comfortable, the cutting table was large enough to accommodate at least 3 to use at the same time. The retreat is located in a beautiful rural area of Kentucky. Retreaters can cook in the spacious kitchen or it’s a short drive to local diners where you can mingle with the locals. A wonderful quilt shop is about 15 miles away, in case you left something at home.
Wow! Beautiful retreat facility! (7/24/2005)
The beds were quiet and so very comfortable. My group gathered in the beautiful sitting room each morning, it was so inviting. The workroom was nicely furnished, the tables were sturdy, and easily moved so our sewezi tables fit perfectly next to them. We had lots of irons and sewing machines plugged in, there was no electrical issues at all. The sewing room easily stayed cool on some of the hottest days this year. I love this new retreat location and am looking forward to going back.
Beautiful facility and setting (Jul 29, 2025)
Sewing/crafting space is well laid out and very nice. Kitchen well supplied and new, appliances. You'll think you're in a 5-star resort! Take time to relax and the porch or deck to enjoy the beautiful surrounding and the sounds of nature. I can't wait to go back.
A fun weekend sewing and laughing with friends (Aug 05, 2025)
I spent two nights at Hidden Falls Farm and returned home with finished projects and new friends. The house is spacious, clean and well-equipped. The sewing space has everything necessary to set up your sewing machine and get to work.

The Hidden Falls Farm Retreat in Nancy, KY is absolutely top notch! The rural setting is peaceful and beautiful. Facilities and amenities are amazing! Comfortable beds, everything is updated and gorgeously decorated. Crafting space has great lighting, ample space, with stations for cutting, pressing, and designing. The owner, Toni Raynolds, is super and has hit it out of the park with this new retreat center! I have already booked a return trip and foresee many more thereafter.
Instructor-Led Technique Tuesday (Aug 09, 2025)
Had a great time learning a new technique with a new tool to increase precision with piecing. The instructor, Toni Raynolds, is not only knowledgeable, but facilitates a positive learning environment with her calm, patient, and encouraging teaching style. I love the table runner I completed and look forward to more opportunities for day classes at Hidden Falls Farm Retreat.
Hidden Falls fun with all the frills. (Aug 15, 2025)
What a nice, upscale place to sew, eat, laugh and play. The sewing room was well appointed with tables, lights, chairs, ironing boards and beautiful quilts displayed to inspire. The living areas are big and filled with comfortable sofas and chairs., puzzles, TV, and attached to the kitchen area. The kitchen was fully stocked so, all we needed to bring was food. The bedrooms are perfect and the beds comfortable. There is much more to tell but I would be typing all day. The bottom line is that this is a great place to have a retreat or take classes. I hope to return for another retreat!
