A: Yes—while we typically require a 6-person minimum for floor rentals and 12 for whole-house retreats, we occasionally open individual room reservations for curated events or off-peak dates. Reach out to see what is currently available.

A: Absolutely. While the home is designed with creative retreats in mind, it's also a peaceful place for writers, artists, planners, and anyone looking for a restorative getaway.

Meals are included only for retreat events hosted by Hidden Falls Farm Retreat.
If you’re renting the retreat center for your own group, you’ll have full access to the kitchen to prepare meals, or you can explore local dining and catering options nearby. Visit our “Host a Retreat” page for recommended catering partners and helpful planning tips.

We’re located in scenic Nancy, Kentucky—just 21 minutes from Somerset—in the heart of Amish country and near the beautiful Lake Cumberland region.   

At Hidden Falls Farm Retreat, we strive to make every guest feel welcome, comfortable, and supported. While our facility is not fully ADA-compliant, we offer several accessibility-friendly features and helpful services to accommodate guests with limited mobility or other physical needs.

Workroom Access:

• The main workroom can be accessed from the front driveway with no steps, providing a convenient entry point for guests using mobility aids.

• A side entrance into the workroom is also available with two steps.

First Floor Access:

• The front door to the main house has two steps.

• Entry from the workroom into the first floor also includes two steps.

Bathroom accessibility:

The first floor hall bath has a shower with one very low step and a seating area.   All other bathrooms have a traditional combined tub and shower. 

Lower Level Access:

• The lower level of the retreat center features zero-step entry, making it an ideal option for guests who need step-free access.

Loading & Unloading Assistance:

• We offer complimentary loading and unloading assistance for guests who need extra support.

• Wagons are also available for your convenience to help transport bags, sewing machines, and crafting supplies to and from your vehicle.

💧 Is There Really a Waterfall at Hidden Falls Farm?

Yes—there is a waterfall just beyond the property, and it’s part of what inspired the name Hidden Falls Farm Retreat.

Tucked behind the trees at the back of the retreat, the wooded area slopes down a ravine to Little Weddle Creek. On the opposite side of the creek, a gentle waterfall trickles down the hillside and feeds into the flowing stream below.

In the cooler months, you can almost always hear it. During the hotter summer months (June, July, August), the flow tends to slow—and the thick foliage makes it harder to hear through the trees. But when conditions are right, the soft sound of falling water adds a peaceful, soothing backdrop to your retreat. And in the winter, when the trees are bare, you might catch a glimpse of it through the woods if you look closely.

While the waterfall adds to the natural beauty of the setting, please note that the ravine is quite steep and there is no maintained trail. For safety reasons, we do not encourage hiking down to view it up close.

It remains a hidden gem—quietly flowing just beyond view, adding to the serene charm of Hidden Falls Farm.
